About Us

ToyBox Pre-School was originally set up in 2005 order to provide pre-school care and education for the children of Wentworth and surrounding areas.


The school aims to provide a high standard of care and education for children aged 2.5 to 5 years in a safe environment. We are Ofsted inspected and approved to care for 26 children at each session. We offer children and their parents a service which promotes equality and values diversity. We provide the children with interesting activities that are appropriate for their age and stage of development. We have high ratio of adults to children which enables us to give generous care and attention to your child. As well as gaining qualifications in Children's Care, Learning and Development, Toybox staff regularly take part in further training.


We provide a curriculum for the Early Years Foundation Stage which covers learning and development for children from birth to five years and also sets out the legal requirements which all nurseries and pre-schools must comply with and which Ofsted inspect and report on. At Toybox all our policies and procedures have been developed and reviewed to ensure that we support the learning and development of children in our care.

ToyBox pre-school recognises parents as the first and most important educators of their children. All of the staff see themselves as co-workers with you in providing care and education for your child.
